This is the backside view of the "Egg Crate" area of the Grill. When they are cheaply made and not quite true they will crack in this grill area. Most of the times they just crack out in one piece. Ours are "Better than N.O.S. Reproductions" I made ours with U.V. Proof Plastic also. That way they do not Sun Harden also
