That fuel outlet needs to become the fuel return line and the vent return needs to become gone. Replaced by 1/2 diameter stainless steel tube. Fuel flow baby. Do not worry, the fuel tank sending unit will still work. The sock on that line will eliminate shit getting pumped back into the tank
