When we got the differential it was missing one axle. On top of that the other axle was not the correct one. Someone had changed them to the longer axles during it's lifetime. This we did not know.

That way the Crossover would not rust and the Metal Covers would radiate the heat away from the crossover as fast as possible. This would keep the whole package cool.
