You will notice along side the bottom of the Passenger's Side Fenderwell, the line of the Staples. These were punched into the bottom of the Fenderwell to hold Rubber Sealing Flaps that helped direct and keep unwanted Air from effecting Engine and Air Conditioning Operation.
