I really do not know if there is any friction modification added by this compound! I would love to say this coating is impervious to damage, but it is not. When used on cast iron exhaust manifolds if you scratch it the scratch will rust. This coating will wear away on these incline plates. The strut pin will ride on these plates and wear off the coating. But the area effected will be small.
