Why? Because Rubber has no place on the Pressurized Side in any Fuel System! There should only be Manual Inverted Flare or Bubble Type Fittings. There is no place in my pressurized fuel systems for Rubber! If it has to be there, place the two metal nipples as close or inserted into each other then clamp them!
