Do you see the New Coils? You cannot Sandblast them, Powdercoat them or do anything that would Heat up the Metal. If you want to "Cut off a Coil" I suggest you use an Abrasive Blade or a Cutoff Saw. Heat does Funky Stuff to Spring Steel
