This is the appearance of the part after leaving the sand blasting cabinet. I can inspect the flange in a far greater detail in this clean condition. It is fluxed to check for cracks, any threads tapped, burrs removed from the cap saddles, even the seal groove is repaired. Once done with all the work it is painted.
