You bet your Donkey! The Camshaft and Crankshaft should turn freely. If you take your 5 year old and tell him to rotate the Crankshaft he better be able to turn it! If not then, YOU SUCK. That is just the way it is. Breaking an engine In was done in the 1920's. They do not have to wear it to work anymore!
