In the case of my cars I love the chrome covers. You just put them on and save the old cover for the people that like the OEM appearance. Now that is the key.

  • Plated to match. Sure some of the plating is better than original. Looks better than NOS. The Plating is also better in longevity and appearance. If you want it to look more like the General's leave it in the Sun for about a year. It will dull up.

  • Oh and the baseplate is kinda better looking aluminum than original. I guess you will have to live with that. It should look good on your motor though. Just bolt it on and adjust the Air Fuel Metering Rods. I set it up for a mild camshaft.
