  • The part number is correct, the angle of the water neck outlet is to the right when faced from the front.  These are pretty much the main ways to identify the correct piece for 66.  In car shows accuracy is Paramount.

  • Yes, some of the plating is much prettier that the originals.  The Baseplates look much better from the inside than the originals.  Only you and the fuel will notice.  I take the time to make the whole setup perfect.
