It is just the way to go. The Original Equipment Flywheels weighted quite a bit more also! The theory on that is the Extra Mass in the Flywheel would smooth out the ignition pulses that occur when each Spark Plug Fires. This is no longer an issue with my engines because I grind the Crankshafts on Index
