Now one of the problems we experienced early on was the fact that the crankshaft can spin up much quicker than the Alternator and Water Pump Pulleys. With some High Horsepower Engines we would have to cut the Serpentine Pulleys apart off of Chevrolet Motors and weld them into Pontiac Pullies. The next problem was that the guts of the alternators explode at high revs. Well this one does not.
