  • Since this is a Double Roller Chain Engine I do not have to worry about making them flush with the face of the block. I just have to get them into the block far enough to provide sealing and plug retention. There is plenty of room under the timing gear.

  • You will also notice that Aluminum does not rust. I realize that the OEM Thermostat Housing was Aluminum but the Intake is Cast Iron, so should the Thermostat Housing. It will seal better and a whole lot of other good reasons abound.
