Notice that I take the Stock Pickups and weld them to the Oil Pump Housing. Why? Well considering that this is one of the most cost effective items in the engine why not help it out also? In this 389 I will be utilizing a 73 455 Super Duty Oil Pump. The best of the stock designs.
