In the case of the Piston Bores I can allways Sleeve them. In the case of the Lifter Bores I cannot sleeve them in Bronze Liners. Pontiac lifter bores are quite thin. I can always install Cast Iron Sleeves and significantly undersize the O.D. of the lifters. In the process significantly strenghten the Lifter Valley. Ups, I should of never told.
