Problem is, when you want "Numerially Tall" gear ratios, say like 4:11 you need to figure it out. You usually end up with 11 teeth on the Input Shaft Gear and 45 on the Ring Gear. In other words, the gear ratio is the ring gear count divided by the input shaft count!
