This is the Major difference between a M - 20, M - 21 and a M - 22 Main Shaft. I think the smaller shaft is 27 Splines and the M - 22 (larger) shaft is 32 splines. Do not quote me. I have forgot more about these trannies than most people will ever know. When I see a big shaft, I am happy I found one!
