Yes, they should of been Cast Iron like the Borg Warner Trannys! Of course some Borg Warner trannies went both ways. Cast Aluminum and Cast Iron. Interestingly, the Borg Warner Cast Aluminum Covers tended to crack on the inside of the shift boss!
