There are several tasks to clean out these units. First drain all the fluid out the Rear of the Tailshaft, Drain Plugs, and etc. Second, fill the tranny up with gas and run it thru the gears with a 1/2 inch drill chucked on the Pilot Shaft. This will tell you if there are problems and clean it's insides.
