  • I hate it when they spin a cam bearing and they fast food it.  They spun the rear cam bearing in the journal.  Then they Machined the area beyond the OD of the Journal.  What a bunch of idiots.

  • Now not only does the rear journal cam bearing not fit but the camshaft freeze plug just falls out in your hand.  Now this is not your average repair and I do not intend upon giving this secret away.

  • Well needless to say I have to machine just about everything on this block.  Shake and Bake, Normalize, Line Hone, repair Cam main line, the list goes on.

  • Lets get rid of those old bolts and let ARP provide the clamp forces.  After all they will be able to keep things together quite a bit longer than that old iron.  Makes Retorqueing a thing of the past.
