Title: Now that the intake manifold is on the gaskets and they have not slid down into the valley or moved, it is time to install the bolts. I use nice flat washers on intake manifold bolts. Especially with aluminum intakes.

This type of distortion can eliminate correct operation of the outer two carburetors. On top of that the carbs also being tasked to operate on a 400 cubic inch motor. The real question is will the center carb improve performance? You bet.
