You install them and then you get to put them along side the valve cover and perhaps you want just a bit more bend or etc and they crimp down. That ruins the line. Well, mine will take more abuse. The aluminum is less likely to bend.

There we go. Nice and tight. The end valley gaskets did not pouch out and the top of the motor is back to the condition that it was before I began to operate on it.
