The only way to remove this is to place a nut over the broken stud. I usually like a longer stud for this but would attempt it anyway. You hook the cover to ground, you get a Pencil Lead Think Welding Rod and hope you get good penetration into the stud. Let it cool. Add Silikeroil. Let sit a bit then try to unscrew the nut!
