You will notice that the plating on the inside looks as good as the plating on the outside. That is the idea. The plating is there to prevent corrosion to the "Parent" Metal. That metal in this case is Pot Metal. Otherwise known as slag. Shit metal. Garbage metal. It cannot be welded, brazed, or any other type of lasting repair. I have tried. It just sucks
