Each and every single carburetor I make has a Full on Sintered Bronze, Pleated Paper, or Stainless Steel Screen fuel filter. In this case the filters are in line with the fuel inlets. Run dirt in your gas with no filter in the suction side of the delivery and you will find my carbs clogging up and not running or catching fire
