Here is an example of the 65 GTO linkage. It connects the middle carb to the rear on the passenger side. This is not correct for 1960 but I feel that it is a headache free option. I also think that it functions better. If you have had a long throttle shaft with that bolted up throttle bracket then you know what I mean. They would slip alot.
