  • The brass fitting is just installed onto the front of the carb by hand.  It is actually for the Power Brake Booster and not the Carburetor.  That way I will not loose it and it will stay with the carb.

  • It looks like Steve is updating his intake.  Here you can see the Reproduction Throttle Cable Braket.  You can also see the Reproduction Yellow Throttle Return Spring.  The main thing that is missing is the correct Throttle Cable.

  • I still am also not sold on the factory routing of the main fuel line to the Filter.  It kinda goes up around the Air Filter and hooks to the Fuel Filter.  On top of that the connection is made with rubber.

  • Rubber and today's fuel do not mix.  Todays fuel will eat Rubber.  Make sure you got Fuel Line.  Also the center Vacuum Ports require Vacuum Line.  It is far less likely to collapse than Fuel Line.

  • Well, lets hope that this info helps Steve make some changes in his setup.  In the long run I can only hope that the overall performance will be improved upon this installation of the Reman Center Carburetor.
