Here you can see the relationship of the First and Second Strut Type Synchronizer Collar and the Reverse Idler Gear. See where they are positioned. Picture that collar engaged into first gear. Turns out I did not screw up. The owner did not adjust the limited throw bolts and locknuts of the sides of the shifter. Just one turn of a 9/16ths by 24 bolt made me do this. Who is the dumby?
