Electronics in a Transmission are not a good idea. Electricity and fluids just do not go together. You know I had one Tranny tech that shorted out the Seloniod wire. We put the tranny back into the truck and it worked fine. The customer came back and complained about the Stereo not working in his truck. Needless to say once I looked at the wiring diagram I could see how the shorted selonoid wire would blow the fuse. I fired that man quicker than I could type.
