This is a 9606 11/32 inch False Guide Insert. This is the last step in saving a set of cylinder heads. In this case you have reached the wear limit of knurling the guides. Then you have reached the limit of installing K- liners. Then you have over threaded the guide for the Spiral Threaded in style. Now the last option is to overbore the guide and install "False Guides". Why do they call them false guides? Go figure. The way I see it they are as close to original as you can get.
