Now, what the heck are these extra numbers for? Who cares about anything beyond 8 degrees after or before top dead center. In a Pontiac the critical setting is 8 degrees before top dead center. Some low compression motors could be set to 12 or mabey 16 for an initial starting point but does this happen?
