  • If it does not have the valley between the top two bolts then it is not an OEM style Pontiac Turbo Trans.  The other ones have a Chevy appearing hump in the middle of the two bolts.

  • Here is the 3/4 lenght crankshaft baffle.  These came on 70 and later blocks.  Mabey 71 or so.  I cannot remember.  In all fairness they are just as good.  The pan is so close to the block at this location that the extra metal is useless.
