I love these pictures. They speak tons of words about the quality of my assemblies. Just look at the small amount of sealent squish out. Well it turns out that the Strut Collars were pulling themselves into the gear. The owner did not know how to adjust the new shifter he bought and installed. I did not know about the Hurst Super Competition Plus Shifter. When it was under hard acceleration they would move towards the gear and the reverse idler would just contact the first gear strut collar outer ring and created the noise.
